La Bataille Des Planetes

La Bataille Des Planetes was the French title for the Battle of the Planets, the US adaptation of the Japanese anime series Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.

Ceji Arbois, a licensee of Hasbro, produced a line of figures based on La Bataille Des Planetes for the European market. One of these figures, Marc, uses the Super Joe body without the 1-2 Punch feature and with a new head based on the character from the cartoon.  The other figures in the line are Kipo who uses the Loki body from the Space Academy line and Princesse, a female figure.

Marc has an anime head based on the character from the cartoon, flesh colored arms, torso and upper legs. His upper torso is similar to Darkon.  His hands are molded in blue to represent gloves and his lower legs and feet are molded in light blue as boots similar to the Shield.   Marc has a white jumpsuit that has blue lower legs.  There are separate blue fabric gauntlets for each forearm.  He has a G-Force emblem on his chest.  He has a blue belt with a yellow plastic buckle featuring a red G on it.  Additionally, he has a white cape with a red interior that fastens with a hook at the neck.  Finally he has a hard plastic white helmet with a clear plastic beak-like visor.  The helmet features the face of a bird on each side and a white antennae on the back.
